The visits to web in mobile already surpass those made in computer

The uses of the internet are changing and mobile devices have become the kings of the Net for the first time in history. The month of October has been a new technological milestone after the visits through mobile devices have exceeded those made through computer, according to a report by StatCounter.

These figures, however, do not necessarily point to more people using mobile devices than computers. What he points out is that the StatCounter average deciphers that there are more people browsing webs from mobile than in the desktop version.

Fall of sales

Gartner, a consulting and information technology research firm, expects that by the end of 2016, the PC market will continue to experience difficulties and will hit bottom. The forecasts for 2017 are not positive either, since sales will remain flat.

For its part, the smartphone market will continue to grow, according to Gartner, although it will do so at a slower pace than in previous years.

The total sales of mobile phones will fall by 1.6% in 2016. Experts expect to reach the 1.5 billion mobile phones sold.
