The Israeli Cellebrite is able to unlock and extract data from the devices of the bitten apple

It has been several months of problems to unlock the San Bernardino iPhone. The FBI finally had to seek help in the services of the Israeli Cellebrite . Problems that the Guardia Civil has also suffered and that the technology has put a cable to, for example, unlock the iPhone 6S of Josep María Jové , number two of the former vice president of the Generalitat Oriol Junqueras.

Now, according to company internal data, they can unlock any terminal of the Cupertino giant, provided they are equipped with the iOS 11 version, according to Forbes magazine, quoting anonymous sources of the company.

In particular, Cellebrite is able to act until version 11.2.6 of Apple's operating system. The technology of the Israeli forensic company allows us to circumvent the identification mechanisms that have existing iOS and Android terminals, from PIN codes and passwords, to which we should add biometric identification mechanisms such as fingerprint sensors or facial recognition.

In an official document published last December, Cellebrite already claimed to be able to unlock and extract data from Apple devices such as iPhone, iPad and iPod that use operating systems from iOS 5 to the most recent edition, iOS 11, launched on last month of September.
